Walking tour of Florence
Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance period, is the symbol of the rebirth of Italy's life and culture after the Dark Ages; a visit to Florence will deeply enhance your knowledge of Italy. A Florence trip is also easy, as Florence is well connected to Rome. Enjoy the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) across the river Arno, with its old handicraft and jewelry shops; skip the line in the magnificent Galleria degli Uffizi, where your guide will show you the most important paintings dating to Florence's golden age; step into the Accademia, where you will see Michaelangelo's marble giant "David"; enter in Santa Maria del Fiore to see Brunelleschi's revolutionary dome, the first dome constructed since that of the Pantheon. At the end, visit Santa Croce, the holiest memorial church in Florence, where Michaelangelo and other notable Florentines rest.

Also, please type the date you would like the tour in the following format: Month spelled out in letters, followed by the date and the year to avoid confusion.
