Venice Grand Canal and Islands

Set off for an unforgettable day discovering the grander face of Venice. You will begin at the Rialto Bridge, one of the earliest passages between two of the main six quarters. Sailing on the Grand Canal by private tour boat, you will discover the different palaces facing the channel and their respective unique subtle details such as huge crystal lamps, carved porticoes, castle-like rooftops and front sides painted in rich, velvet-like shades. Your private boat will reach the islands of Torcello, whose village doors are all painted in a variety of flashy colours; then you will sail to Burano, famous island in Venice sea where the local women were fond of lace-making of the most difficult technique such as silk and cotton "al tombolo" (hundreds cotton-silk spuns are quickly woven along pins until a pattern of artistic knots is made), and finally to Murano, where you will have a chance to visit a real glass-making workshop; there, the glass blowers will demonstrate their art, creating colorful glass masterpieces from hot balls of liquid glass right in front of your eyes.
